The National
Highway
Traffic
Safety
Administration
recommends,
according
to accident
statistics,
that parents
select
the rear seat as
the
safest
location
for a child
car seat.
However,
the
actual
dimensions
of the seat and the details
of the safety
belts
used to
anchor
the child
seat differ
from
vehicle
to vehicle.

The primary
protection
for occupants
of a motor
vehicle
i n a
collision
is the body
of the vehicle

for survival
