The additronal block (fig. I, 5) on the child seat must be attached
for use in the front seat. For Porsche cars with air bags, Porsche
testing indicates that the Prince may be used on the front seat
onlv if the vehicle seat is moved fullv rearward. Porsche stronglv
recbmmends that the air bag be turned off by insertin the air

Fastening the lap shield with the lap and shoulder belt
seat belt on the front passenger
seat
a) Pull out the lap and shoulder belt seat belt and insert in the
buckle (fig. III, 1).
b) Insert the lap belt portion (3) in the belt guide portion (2)
marked in red and tighten until it fits snugly (fig. (Ill, IV). The
belt strap must not be twisted in the belt slot of the lap
shield. The belt buckle and other rigid metal or plastic
parts must be p!aced to the side out of the way of the belt
guide portion.
c) Guide the shoulder belt portion (4) along lap belt portion and
also insert in the belt guide portion (2) (fig. IV, VI.
d) Tighten until the belt fits snugly. Make sure the belt is not
hyrsted (fig. VI.
e) Turn off the front passen

er airbag by inserting the
disconnection belt tongue ( rg. I, 6) on the Porsche Prince
into the disconnection adapter buckle in front of the front
passenger seat (fig. I, 7). The disconnection belt should
be left slack.
f) Ensure that the tongue for switching off the front passenger
airbag is correctly inserted as follows. Turn the ignition key
to the on position (position 2). The airbag warning light In
the instrument panel should flash for 10 seconds and then
go off, indicating that the front passenger airbag is switched
off. See your Owners
Manual for further
details.
If you cannot confirm that the air bag is turned off do not
use the Porsche Prince. Check with your Porsche dealer
for assistance.

The Porsche Prince is designed, tested and approved
in accordance
with the requirements
of US Federal
Motor Vehicle Safety Standards governing child safety
devices.

So that your child does not get burned by hot items,
the Porsche Prince should be covered
by a towel or
blanket
and
not
be left
in direct
sunlight.
Never leave your child alone or unattended in the child
seat or in the car.
If the Porsche Prince is carried
in the car without a
child, it must be secured with the belt.
