DO - Set a good example
by always
wearing
your
seat belt. Make
sure it is a firm rule that the car doesn't
move
until everyone
is buckled
up. Make
no exceptions
for adults
or children.
DO - Always
check
the Toddler
Restraint
for heat
before
placing
a child into the seat. Plastic parts
can become
hot to touch
in sunny
weather.
DO - Put the lightest
passenger
on the seat behind
the Toddler
Restraint.
In an accident,
a heavy passenger
could cause more
injuries
to your
child than a light one.
DO - Keep the Toddler
Restraint
securely
belted
to the vehicle,
even when
it is not occupied.
In a crash
or sudden
stop,
any unsecured
child restraint
and other
loose
objects
will
keep moving
and can cause serious
injuries.
DO - Make
sure
that
the Toddler
Restraint
does
not become
trapped
by a folding
car seat or in the door
or trunk
lid of
your car.
DO - Replace
any worn
seat
belts
immediately.
Remove
the
Toddler
Restraint
and inspect
the vehicle
seat belt periodically
for signs of wear, fraying
or damage.
DO NOT - Leave children
alone in your car, even for a short time.
DO NOT - Attempt
to disassemble
or modify
any
part
of the
Toddler
Restraint
or your
vehicle's
seat
belts.
DO NOT - Use anything,
such as a cushion
or coat to raise the
Toddler
Restraint
off the passenger
seat. In an accident
the Toddler
Restraint
and vehicle's
seat belts would
not be able to protect
your child as well as they shoujd.
Radio transmitters,
such as a portable
telephone
or citizens
band
unit should
only be used inside the passenger
compartment
if they
are connected
to a Mercedes-Benz
approved
antenna
that is installed
on the outside
of the vehicle.

Removing
the Seat
Shell
Cover:
I. Untie the strings
at the
bottom
of the
seat
shell
cover.
2. Pull the cover
off first
from the top portion
of the
seat and then the bottom.

Washing
the Seat She!! Cover:
Wash in a mild detergent
using a mild (permanent
press) wash cycle.
Do not spin or tumble
dry.
Impact
Shield:
The cover is non-removable.
Wash impact
shield with mild detergent
and lukewarm
water.
Clean
fabric
parts
with
vehicle
upholstery
cleaning foam.
Seat Shell:
If the main shell becomes
dirty,
it can be washed
off with water.
Do
not wash with household
detergents
or with
solvents
- these
can
weaken the material
of the seat shell.
