SPECIFIED IN THIS INSTRUCTION BOOKLET AND YOUR
VEHICLE'S OWNER'S MANUAL
The primary protection for occupants of a motor vehicle in a
collision is the body of the vehicle itself, and a child restraint will
not protect a child when the vehicle sustains very serious damage.
However, correctly installed restraints will substantially improve
the chances for survival in all accidents. Make sure that you
understand the correct way to use this restraint in your vehicle.
This Toddler Restraint contains a special device that will
automatically turn off the passenger airbag ONLY in BabySmartTM
airbag deactivation system equipped vehicles. Unless this Toddler
Restraint is used in a vehicle equipped with BabySmartTM and
the front passenger airbag is off, this Restraint must not be placed
in the front seat of a vehicle that has a passenger airbag. A
passenger airbag will inflate with great force in the event of an
accident and can cause serious to fatal injuries to your child.
