Press down the release lever and gently pull out the

Close the front cover gently while supporting the left and
right sides of the cover with your hands. Make sure the
inside lock has engaged.

3.6 When Not in Use

When the machine will not be in use
for a prolonged period, unplug the
power cord from the electrical outlet.
Failure to do so may
result in deterioration
of the insulation,
leading to electrical
shock, short circuit, or
fire.
NOTICE
Do not unplug the power cord while printing is in progress. The printing heads remain in contact with the media, so
there is danger of the heads being damaged.
When you are unplugging the power cord, be sure to use the [power] button on the operation panel to switch off the
power, and make sure the [power] light goes dark.

After Daily Operations Have Finished

Switching Off the Power at the End of the Day
Press the [power] button on the operation panel to switch
off the power.
In day-to-day operations, you do not need to unplug the power cord.
