5A-2 BRAKES PIPE / HOSE / MASTER CYLINDER

ON-VEHICLE SERVICE
LSPV (Load Sensing Proportioning Valve)
ASSEMBLY (if equipped)
REMOVAL
1) Clean around reservoir cap and take out fluid with syringe or
such.
2) Hoist vehicle.
1. LSPV
3) Disconnect brake pipes from LSPV.
2. Brake pipe
4) Remove LSPV assembly from vehicle body.
NOTE:
As shown in figure left, LSPV assembly should be removed
together with its spring and stay installed or rear axle hous-
ing.
5) Remove spring and stay from lever.
CAUTION:
INSTALLATION
CAUTION:
Refer to above CAUTION.
Install by reversing removal procedure, noting the following.
1) Apply multi-purpose grease to upper and lower joint of coil
spring.
"A": Apply grease
LSPV assembly must not be disassembled.
Replace with new one if defective.
Stopper bolt should not be loosened or tightened.
