Condition
Remedy
1. Discharged battery
2. Brown fuse link wire blown
3. EFI relay defective
4. Ignition switch malfunctioning -
switch not in
RUN position
5. Wiring harness shorting -
disconnected
6. Emergency stop switch in DOWN position ­
switch malfunctioning
7. Throttle/ignition monitor switch
malfunctioning
8. Tether switch disconnected -
defective
9. Spark plugs fouled -
damaged
10. Spark-plug caps damaged -
leaking ­
shorting
11. High tension wires/coil loose -
grounded ­
defective
12. COl unit defective
13. Charge coil defective
14. RPM sensor defective
15. Throttle position sensor defective
16. ECU defective
1. Check battery condition - charge or replace if
necessary
2. Replace fuse link
3. Replace relay
4. Replace ignition switch - turn switch to RUN
position
5. Repair -
replace -
connect wiring harness
6. Move switch to UP position -
replace throttle
switch
7. Adjust throttle cable tension -
replace throttle
body assembly
8. Connect -
replace tether switch
9. Clean -
replace spark plugs
10. Replace spark-plug caps
11. Service -
replace high tension wires/coil
12. Replace CDI unit
13. Replace charge coil
14. Replace RPM sensor
15. Replace position sensor
16. Replace ECU

9. Replace fuel
