2.2.8. Cleaning 980 / 1200 Rear Antenna Cover

This Maintenance Check is only required for users with a Rear Antenna Cover
installed onto their iNetVu™ 980 or 1200 Mobile Platform.
Required Materials:
 Any type of mild soap / cleaning agent
 Cleaning Materials
Maintenance / Cleaning Tips:
 Keep the fabric clean. This is the best protection
against mildew. Even on mildew resistant fabric,
mildew can grow on accumulated dirt of foreign
materials that remain on the top surface and
eventually damage or strain the fabric.
 Wash fabric with mild soap and immediately and
thoroughly rinse.
 Hose down fabric every month or so during the spring, summer, and fall,
and ensure complete drying.
 Ensure small tears are repaired promptly.
 Do not use high-pressure hoses or steam.
 Do not use wire or stiff brushes, harsh detergents, abrasive cleaners or
chlorine bleach.
