&F, &F0 Loads Factory 0 configuration options
into Active memory.
&F1 Loads Factory 1 configuration options into
Active memory.
Factory default settings (&F0) are indicated by bold
type in this table. &F1 settings differ only for the L n
and &C n options, and are shown in those sections of
this appendix.
V.22BIS AND V.22 GUARD TONE
Determines the nature of the V.22bis and V.22 Guard
Tone.
&G, &G0 Disable
&G1 Disable
&G2 1800 Hz guard tone
NOTE: The ability to change this value is mandatory
in some countries; it is not used in North America.
FLOW CONTROL
Determines the flow control settings for data passed
between the computer and the DataPort PCX
modem.
&K, &K0 Disables hardware and software flow
control.
&K3 Enables RTS/CTS (hardware) flow
control.
&K4 Enables XON/XOFF (software) flow control.
&K5 Transparent XON/XOFF (software) flow
control. (XON and XOFF characters are
passed from DTE to DTE.)
&K6 Enables both XON/XOFF and RTS/CTS
flow control. (Default for fax modes.)
