EXTENDED RESULT CODES
Sets an override of the W n command option.
NOTE: The following values are bit positions, not
decimal S-register contents. An option is selected if
its associated bit is set to 1.
0 = CONNECT result code shows DCE speed instead
of DTE speed
1 = Reserved
2 = Enable CARRIER x result code ( x =rate)
3 = Enable PROTOCOL NONE result code
4 –7 = Reserved
TONE DIAL
Specifies touch-tone dialing. This is the default type.

RESULT CODE FORMAT
Determines the way result codes are sent to the DTE.

Result codes displayed as numbers

Result codes displayed as text
CONNECT MESSAGE CONTROL
Controls the format of the CONNECT result code
displayed upon connection (only).
W0
CONNECT shows DTE rate
W1
CONNECT shows VF rate, protocol, and
DTE rate

CONNECT shows VF rate
