Disconnect POTS Modem (if it exists at your location) Disconnect the power cable from the Modem Disconnect the phone line from the back of the modem Disconnect the phone line from the wall jack Disconnect the Modem cable from the back of the modem Disconnect the Modem cable from the console port of the router Package all the above equipment in the supplied box.

Disconnect Call Director (if it exists at your location) REAR VIEW Disconnect the power cable from the Call Director Disconnect the console cables from the Call Director. Might be up to 4 Disconnect the console cables from the equipment Disconnect the Modem cable from the Call Director. The other end is connected to the modem.

Wait for a couple of minutes till front panel lights are stabilized Setup the RM 5400 Modem where you can get at least 2 Signal Strength lights are lit Move around up to 25 feet from the Router if necessary to get 2 signals.
