9. Fitting of the spark plug

With the engine a spark plug of the type DENOS IW 27 gets supplied (a spark plug
of the type NGK BR 10 EG may also be used)
Remove the transport plug from the spark plug tapping.
Verify electrode gap of spark plug. Adjust as required.
Note:
The electrode pag of spark plug should be
0,5 mm / 0,020 in to 0,6 mm / 0,024 in (for NGK spark plugs) and
0,6 mm / 0,024 in to 0,7 mm / 0,028 in (for DENSO spark plugs)
Only slight bending of the ground electrode is permitted.
Fit supplied spark plug and tighten to 24 Nm / 212 in. lb.
Put the spark plug connector on spark plug.

10. Installation of the radiator

Attatch the retaining plate (6) to the
3 mounting points on the radiator using
the allen screws (9) and locking nuts (10)
Attatch the the distance nut (11) to the
remaining mounting on the retaining
plate (6) by using the allen screw
(13) and lock washer (12).
Tightening torque: 20 Nm / 177 in. lb
Mount the retaining plate with the
radiator to the cylinder by using the allen
screw (14) and lock washer (12).
Tightening torque: 20 Nm / 177 in. Lb
Fit the 4 supplied hose clamps (4 and 5)
on the coolant water hoses (3)
Note:
The hose clamp (5) with bigger diameter is for the position on the cylinder head
cover.
Push the two coolant sockets of the radiator into coolant hoses.
Push the coolant hoses onto the connections on the cylinder head cover and the
crankcase.
