The Intel
Server Board SE7500WV2 includes several connectors that perform a variety of functions relating to the
system power:
•
Power connector: The SE7500WV2 includes a server system infrastructure (SSI)-compliant 24-pin power
connector. The first 20 pins are configured to conform to the ATX specification; the final 4 pins provide auxiliary
power.
•
Processor power connector: An 8-pin connector is used for the +12 V power connection dedicated to provide
power to the processors.
•
CMOS battery: The SE7500WV2 includes a 3-volt lithium cell battery to provide backup power to CMOS to
maintain BIOS settings in case main system power is lost.
Note: An ATX +12 V power supply is required for the Intel Server Board SE7500WV2.
