NOTE: When wiring the unit, the ground connection must always be made first and disconnected
last.

Insert the stripped ground wire end into the lug opening
Tighten the top screw to secure the ground wire into the grounding block and tighten with
a standard flat blade screwdriver. The recommended torque is 35 pounds force-inch (lbf-
in). Do not overtighten.
Connect the opposite end of the grounding cable to the appropriate grounding point at
your site to ensure adequate chassis ground according to local safety codes.
