Connect the HR32 corded scanner to a Host through a RS-232 cable with RJ45, RS-232 and power connectors:
1.
Plug the RJ45 connector into the data port (see Fig.1-1) on the HR32 corded scanner.
2.
Plug the RS-232 connector into the RS-232 port on the Host.
3.
Connect the supplied power adaptor to the power connector of the RS-232 cable.

Remove Communication Cable

Get an appropriate needle or a straightened paper clip (Fig. 1-5) and then follow the steps below:
1.
Disconnect the power adaptor from mains if there is one.
2.
Insert the needle into the hole.
3.
Pull out the cable slowly from the scanner while pressing the needle in.
4.
Remove the needle.
5.
Disconnect the cable from the Host.

Power on, Sleep, Power off, Reboot

Power on the scanner
Connect the HR32 corded scanner to a Host. Then the scanner will be turned on and automatically enter the sleep mode.
Enter the sleep mode
If no operation is performed on the device for some time, the device will automatically enter the sleep state.
Power off the scanner
Remove the communication cable from the HR32 corded scanner; or remove the USB cable from the Host; or disconnect
the power adaptor from mains.
Reboot the scanner
If the HR32 corded scanner stops responding to input or runs abnormally, turn off the scanner and then turn it back on.
