Wheel forks
(Item: 1820302, 1820281)
Removal
1. Turn off the main power switch on the control
panel.
2. Lift the wheelchair chassis and support it on
blocks so that the appropriate wheel is off the
ground.
3. Remove the plastic plug (1) from the top of the
slewing bracket; see figure.
4. Remove the wheel fork. It is attached with a
bolt (2) from above; see figure.
Fitting
Fitting is the reverse procedure.
Assemble the o-ring on the fricion plate, see figure
below..
NOTE
The friction brake is lubricated with O-ring grease,
Item: 1820405.
WARNING
Lubricant other than that specified may not be used.
Use a torque wrench to tighten the bolt to
24 ft-Ibs (33Nm).
