Continuing a call on the handset using the headset
If you are on a call using the handset, but want to continue the call using the head-
set.
Press "Monitoring" function key. The microphone symbol ( ) appears in the
display and you can speak to the caller using the headset. It is no longer possible to
speak via the handset (monitoring only).
If you want to end the call:
Replace the handset.
Press "Monitoring" function key.
• If you want someone else to be able to monitor your call, as well as the option of
monitoring using the handset, you can also select the "Loudspeaker on" menu
item and then press the "OK" key. The other party can now be heard through the
headset and the telephone loudspeaker.
• If you do not want the other party to hear what you are saying, you can select
the "Mute" menu item on your telephone or press the appropriate key on the
headset. If you press the key again, then you can once again be heard.
