Headset - - answering calls
You receive a call.
Press "Monitoring" function key. The LED next to the function key lights up, the
microphone symbol ( ) appears in the display and you can speak to the caller
using the headset.
If you want to end the call:
Press "Monitoring" function key again (the LED goes out).
• If you are using a convenience headset (e.g. Ellipse), instead of pressing the
"Monitoring" function key on your telephone, you can press the appropriate key
on the headset to answer a call.
• In order for someone else to be able to hear your call, you must first of all lift the
handset. The other party can then also be heard via the handset (it is not
possible to speak into the handset). Then select the "Loudspeaker on" menu
item and press the "OK" key to activate your telephone's loudspeaker. The other
party can now be heard through the headset and the telephone loudspeaker
• If you do not want the other party to hear what you are saying, you can select
the "Mute" menu item on your telephone or press the appropriate key on the
headset. If you press the key again, then you can once again be heard.
