Customising your telephone
Enable auto. direct access tone dialling (DTMF)
You can set up your telephone so that all numeric keys pressed during a call are
sent as a tone. This allows you to interrogate a voice mailbox or operate an answe-
ring machine remotely. These digits will neither be displayed nor entered in the re-
peat dialling memory.
Auto. direct access tone dialling (DTMF)
Press "Menu" function key.
Scroll to the Settings menu item.
Confirm your selection.
Scroll to the Dial settings menu item.
Confirm your selection.
Scroll to the DTMF switchover: N menu item.
Switch to DTMF switchover: Y .
• If you want to switch direct access dialling off again, scroll to the "DTMF Switcho-
ver Y" menu item and then press "OK".
