COMMAND:
SET GLIDESLOPE REFERENCE (UP/DOWN)
G/S REF= AAAA
FORMAT:
This command sets the current Glideslope DDM reference as either being UP or DOWN. Issuing a
subsequent modulation percentage set command, for either the 90 Hz or 150 Hz modulation
percentages, overrides this command.
COMMAND:
SET IDENTIFICATION MODE
IDENT MODE= AAAA
FORMAT:
This command selects whether the identification code is to be modulated either constant or Morse coded.
The ASCII argument should be TONE for constant modulation, CODE for coded modulation, or OFF for
no modulation. This command effects only VOR, LOC, ADF and MKR modes of operations.
COMMAND:
SET IDENTIFICATION CODE
IDENT CODE= AAAAA
FORMAT:
This command sets the desired identification code for VOR, LOC and ADF modes. The number of ASCII
characters allowed is six and any other characters will be truncated.
COMMAND:
DOT TIME LENGTH
DOT TIME= DDD
FORMAT:
This command changes the period of time defining a Morse code DOT. Range is from 50 to 250 ms (1
ms steps).
COMMAND:
DASH TIME LENGTH
DASH TIME= DDD
FORMAT:
This command changes the period of time defining a Morse code DASH. Range is from 150 to 750 ms
(1ms steps).
COMMAND:
DOT/DASH SPACING LENGTH
DOT DASH SPACE= DDD
FORMAT:
This command may be used to change the period of time defining Morse code spacing between DOTS
and, or DASHES of a character. Length may vary from 50 to 250 ms in steps of 1 ms.
COMMAND:
CHARACTER SPACING LENGTH
CHAR SPACE= DDD
FORMAT:
This command may be used to change the time defining Morse code spacing between characters.
Length may vary between 150 and 750 ms in 1 ms steps.
COMMAND:
IDENTIFICATION WORD RATE
WORD RATE= DD[.D]
FORMAT:
This command may be used to set the repetition rate at which the Morse Code identifier is transmitted.
Rate may be programmed from 1.0 to 65.0 s. with 0.1 s. resolution.
