3.6.2 COMMAND LIST

This Section contains the NAV 2000R command list. Each command is described using the following
method:
1> Values to/from the NAV 2000R are denoted with the following letters:
D Decimal characters; 0 - 9
H Hexadecimal digits; 0 - 9, A - F
A ASCII Alpha-Numeric characters; 0 - 9, A - Z
2> Letters surrounded with parenthesis indicate values that are returned from the NAV 2000R.
3> Letters not surrounded by parenthesis indicate command argument values.
4> Characters surrounded with box braces ('[]') indicate optional items from the user or characters that
the NAV 2000R may possibly return.
COMMAND: RETURN SYSTEM STATUS
FORMAT: STAT? (HHHHHHHH)
The STAT? command returns NAV 2000R's current system status word. Bits within this word indicate
certain system conditions. A logic one (1) in the defined bits of the binary conversion of the hexadecimal
number indicate:
BIT 0: Fatal error exists (Use FERR? for type)
BIT 1: HOST CPU operating from boot memory. NAV 2000R Operating software not running
BIT 2: Remote only operation selected
BIT 3: User edit occurring
BIT 4: External modulation audio is summed with internal audio
BIT 5: Not defined
BIT 6: VAL annunciator, Non standard value defined
BIT 7: Not defined
BIT 8: RF level is too high
BIT 9: RF level is too low
BIT 10: Modulation audio is too high for indicated modulation
BIT 11: Modulation audio is too low for indicated modulation
BIT 12: Detected RF is too high for 50% modulation peak
BIT 13: Detected RF is too low for 50% modulation peak
BIT 14: RF Modulator communication error detected
BIT 15: Power ON self-test is in progress
BIT 16: GEN #1 Invalid RF frequency
BIT 17: GEN #1 RF
BIT 18: GEN #1 VCO1 is unlocked
BIT 19: GEN #1 VCO2 is unlocked
BIT 20: GEN #1 Self-test error detected
BIT 21: Not defined
BIT 22: Not defined
BIT 23: Not defined
BIT 24: Reserved spare
BIT 25: Reserved spare
BIT 26: Reserved spare
BIT 27: Reserved spare
BIT 28: Reserved spare
BIT 29: Not defined
BIT 30: Not defined
BIT 31: Not defined
