WEP
WEP is a basic encryption method that is not as secure as WPA.
Tx Key - Select a key from the drop-down menu.
WEP Encryption: Select a level of WEP encryption, 64 bits 10 hex digits or 128 bits 26 hex
digits. The default is 64 bits 10 hex digits.
Key 1-4 - Enter the WEP key(s) manually
Authentication Type - The default is set to open system, which allows either Shared Key
or Auto authentication to be used. With Open System authentication, the sender and the
recipient do NOT use a WEP key for authentication. With Shared Key authentication, the
sender and recipient use a WEP key for authentication.
Network Type -
Select Infrastructure if your network consists of both wired and wireless
devices that communicate through a central device, such as an access point. Select
Ad-hoc if your network consists of only wireless devices that communicate with each other
directly.
Click Apply or Reset to take effect.
Site Survey
SSID Broadcast, when wireless clients survey the local area for wireless networks to
associate with, they will detect the SSID broadcast of the camera.
