4 Install the lock in the stop switch.

If the engine starts in gear, do not
use it. Contact an authorized dealer.
Note
Start-in-gear protection prevents
engine from starting at other than
neutral shift. In-gear starting of engine
will move the boat immediately,
potentially leading to falling down or
causing passenger(s) to be thrown
overboard.
5 Insert the key into the main switch.

lever to Open.
