The firmware version of the Avaya 3902, 3903, 3904, and 3905 Digital Deskphones can be
found through the Options List and Display Diagnostics option on the Avaya 3900 Series Digital
Deskphone (see
page 108).
Verify firmware versions of Avaya 3900 Series Digital Deskphones
1. Press the Options key on the Avaya3902, 3903, 3904, or 3905 Digital Deskphone.
2. Scroll to the "Display Diagnostics" option, using the up or down navigation keys.
3. Press the Select softkey.
4. Scroll to the screen that shows firmware version using the up or down navigation

Firmware download process overview

The Avaya 3900 firmware download process provides information regarding the capability to
download new firmware versions to the Avaya 3900 Series Digital Deskphones. Firmware
download provides a way for installed Avaya 3900 Series Digital Deskphones to be updated
to the appropriate firmware release level on the Meridian SL-100. The latest generally available
firmware files are available at no charge on the Avaya web site for Meridian SL-100 customers.

The bottom line of the screen should display Flash: X.X to
LX.X. The first number after flash indicates the current
firmware version of the telephone.
