Gas vapour is highly explosive and can cause serious bodily inj ury or dam age t o pr opert y if allowed t o
accum ulat e in a confined space and ignit ed.
This appliance m ust not be inst alled under or on any com bust ible m at erial. Minim um clearance fr om
com bust ible m at erials t o all sides of t he appliance is 450m m ( 18" ) .

2. The appliance is designed for use by adult s, k eep children away from t he 1100Series BBQ at all
t im es.
3. Use only on a flat , level, st able non- com bust ible surface. Do not use t his appliance on any sur face
t hat can burn or m elt .
4. When in use, gas cylinder should be k ept at designat ed m ount ings on 1100Series BBQ, and supply
hoses k ept away fr om any hot surfaces.
5. To prevent accident al fires, before using t he appliance ensur e t hat t here is no appar ent dam age t o
hose and r egulat or and all j oint connect ions ar e in good order and not leaking.
6. Befor e ev er y use of t he appliance, use a soapy wat er solut ion on all j oint s in order t o check for
leaks. I f bubbles appear , it indicat es t hat t her e is a leak and t he appliance m ust not be used.
7. LPG cylinder, r egulat or and hose m ust com ply wit h nat ional st andards.
8. Do not m ove or at t em pt t o m ov e t he appliance while in operat ion.
9. Do not operat e t his appliance befor e leak checking hoses and gas cylinder connect ion.

For fixed inst allat ions, r efer also t o t he r equirem ent s of AS5601/ AG601, local aut horit y, gas,
elect ricit y, and any ot her r elevant st at ut ory r egulat ions.
For fix inst allat ions, refer t o AS 5601/ AG 601 for pipe sizing det ails.
Consult ot her t rades. Wher e r equired, consult a bricklayer or an elect rician for part s of t he
inst allat ion t hat could have an effect on t hese areas.
Allow a 20m m gap from back of barbecue body for v ent ilat ion and air access.
Test appliance for corr ect operat ion before leaving, and inst ruct user on it s use.
I f cor rect operat ion cannot be achieved, disconnect barbecue fr om gas supply, and cont act y our
near est BeefEat er dealer.
Please only use BeefEat er supplied hose( s) t o connect t his appliance. Nat ural Gas conv er sion kit s
are available from your near est BeefEat er dealer.
