Each time you press the button:

Presetting the channel

Preset channels to make selection simple.
Up to 30 stations can each be set in the FM and AM bands.

Tune to the station (➡ 46).

Press [ENTER].

While "MEMO" is flashing on the display
Press the numbered buttons or
[W X CH] to select a channel and
press [ENTER].
e.g. "2": [0] ➡ [2]
"12": [1] ➡ [2]

The station occupying a channel is erased if another station
is preset in that channel.
Presetting stations automatically
Up to 30 stations can each be set in the FM and AM bands.

Press [FM/AM] to select the "FM" or
"AM".

Press [6] or [5] to tune to the
frequency where you want to begin
presetting.
Set the channel reception to FM 87.50 MHz or AM 522
kHz if you want automatic presetting to start from the
lowest frequency.

Press and hold [ENTER].
Release the button when "AUTO FM" or "AUTO AM" is
lit on the display.
This unit presets the stations it can receive into the
channels in ascending order.
≥It automatically stops searching when 30 stations are
preset to the last.
≥"SET OK" is displayed when the stations are set. The
last station to be set is then played.
≥"ERROR" is displayed when automatic presetting is
unsuccessful. Preset the channels manually
(➡ above).
≥The unit of display is MHz for FM radio and kHz for AM
radio when the selector is in FM/AM mode.

Selecting the preset channels

Press [FM/AM] to select the "FM" or "AM".

[W X CH] to select the channel.

If there is nearby electrical interference during auto tuning
the frequency may come to a halt without locating a channel.
Turn off the power of the nearby electrical equipment.
∫ Use FM outdoor aerial if radio reception is poor.
≥Disconnect the FM indoor aerial.
≥The aerial should be installed by a competent technician.
[Note]
≥Disconnect the outdoor aerial when the unit is not in use.
≥Do not use the outdoor aerial during an electrical storm.
Use the aerial plug
adaptor (included).

RDS broadcasting

The unit can display the text data transmitted by the radio
data system (RDS) available in some areas.
If the station you are listening to is transmitting RDS signals,
"RDS" will light up on the display.
Press [RDS].
