4. Click "Previous". The screen goes back to the Bi-d Adjustment main menu (Figure
5-19).
5. Select "Adjust". The following screen appears.

6. Select either print mode which requires to be adjusted and click "OK". The following
screen appears.
7. Check print pattern and input the adjustment value (data =__) of the appropriate print
pattern. If the appropriate print pattern is not in the print pattern, input the estimating
print pattern data number from the print pattern gap. When + value is input, the second
line pattern will be shifted to the right. When - value is input, the second line pattern
will be shifted to the left.
8. Click "Previous" in the screen in Figure 5-23 to check the adjustment pattern after
adjustment value is input. The screen goes back to the one in Figure 5-22. Select
"Previous" from the screen in Figure 5-22 again. The screen goes back to the Bi-d
Adjustment main menu (Figure 5-19).
Click "Print Bi-D adjustment pattern" from Bi-Directional adjustment main menu
(Figure 5-19). Print the adjustment pattern and check if the adjustment value you input
is appropriate.
9. If the central three lines of the adjustment pattern are not aligned, repeat from step 5 to
step 8.
