Peak 650 User's Guide
Power Management
This category allows you to select the type (or degree) of power saving and is directly related to the
following modes:
1. HDD Power Down
2. Doze Mode
3. Suspend Mode
There are four selections for Power Management, three of which have fixed mode settings.
Disabled (default)
Min. Power Saving
Max. Power Saving
User Define
Video Off Method
This determines the manner in which the monitor is blanked.
V/H SYNC+Blank
Blank Screen
DPMS
Video Off In Suspend
This determines the manner in which the monitor is blanked.
The Choice: Yes, No.
Suspend Type
Select the Suspend Type.
The Choice: PWRON Suspend, Stop Grant.
MODEM Use IRQ
This determines the IRQ in which the MODEM can use.
The Choice: 3, 4, 5, 7, 9, 10, 11, NA.
BIOS Setup
No power management.
Minimum power management.
Suspend Mode = 1 hr., and HDD Power Down = 15 min.
Maximum power management -- ONLY AVAILABLE FOR SL CPU . Doze
Mode = 1 min., Standby Mode = 1 min., Suspend Mode = 1 min., and HDD
Power Down = 1 min.
Allows you to set each mode individually. When not disabled, each of the
ranges are from 1 min. to 1 hr. except for HDD Power Down which ranges from
1 min. to 15 min. and Disabled.
This selection will cause the system to turn off the vertical and horizontal
synchronization ports and write blanks to the video buffer.
This option only writes blanks to the video buffer.
Initial display power management signaling.
Disables all four modes
Doze Mode = 1 hr. Standby Mode = 1 hr.,
