Set the password checking option to "Always" or
"Setup" if you want to enable this option. Setting it to
"always" will prompt you for a password every time you
cold boot your system or access setup. When you set
the option to "Setup", you will be prompted for a pass-
word only when trying to access setup.
The Boot Sector Virus Protection option may be set to
"enabled" or "disabled". When enabled, the BIOS issues
a warning when any program or virus sends a Disk
Format command or attempts to write to the boot sector
of the hard disk drive.
Note:
Your system must have an American Megatrend Key-
board Controller BIOS, version F or later, for this
option to work.
If the changes made are incorrect, or you change your
mind, press <F6> or <F7> to return to the default
settings. Press <Esc> after making the changes to return
to the main menu.
