Activate an Image

Topspin-360#install image:image-file-name.img
Directory management is automatically performed on the InfiniBand system, so do not include path
information for files on the chassis.
1.
(Optional) If you are using In-Band Management, configure the ethernet management interface (if
you have not already done so).
2. In the privileged-execute mode, enter the
information.
The "remote system" must be the IP address of the TFTP server.
Syntax:
tftp://
<remote-system>/<filepath> <filesystem>:<filename>
Example:
copy tftp://@
10.10.20.78/tftp dir/Topspin270-TopspinOS.img

After downloading the image file to the chassis controller, it must be installed to become active. The
install command installs the specified image file into the system.
To install an image file:
1.
In the privileged-execute mode, enter install image:name of file
Image files must reside in the image file-system
The file name must have the .
All cards must have an oper-status of "Up"
Syntax:
copy
dir image
size
file-name
