in the idle state to show the source and destination of that call and the
user can pick it up by pressing
currently blinking and indicating this party is calling someone.
The pickup offer will be available as long as the destination is ringing
and disappear when the user of the phone offering pickup presses
when the call is connected, when the call is cancelled by the caller or
when a third party picks up the call. The right picture shows that only a
small hint message is shown on the display in case this option is set to
"off". Nevertheless the pickup itself is also working in this case.

Call Waiting Indication

The 3 available options are "on", "visual only" and "off". In case of "on",
besides the second incoming call displayed in the lower left corner off
the display,
you hear a short audible knocking sign mixed in your currently ongoing
call indicating that a second call is coming in. For "visual only" the visual
hint is shown on the display only, no audio hint at all. With "off" you
disable the Call Waiting Indication (CWI) on the phone, which does
mean only one call in parallel can be handled from the phone!!!

Dialtone during Hold

Turning this setting to "on" will produce a dial tone when a call is being
held and the user i.e. can start trying to dial a second number. A dial
tone will not be played when this setting is turned to "off".

Disconnect on On-hook

Sometimes it is useful to disable the disconnection of a call when the
handset is placed on-hook, e.g. during conference calls or hands free
mode, etc. This can be achieved by turning this setting off.

Call join on Xfer

In case you want to join easily the incoming call i.e. from a customer to
a colleague which you already have on the line asking if he wants to
speak to the caller put this to "on". But put it to "off" in case you will
have several calls on hold and you want to pick the one you want to
transfer the incoming call to!
