Responding to Error Messages on the
Screen
Possible cause:
Maximum input time exceeded.
Handset not on hook.
Possible response:
Make your entries quicker, avoid excessive pauses be-
tween keystrokes.
Possible cause:
The system is overloaded, there is no trunk free, the
queue is full.
Possible response:
Wait and try again later.
Possible cause:
a) Function not available at present.
b) There is no station at the station number dialed
Possible response:
a) Wait and try again later.
b) Enter numbers correctly or call the attendant.
Possible cause:
No speed-dial number available, reminder entered in-
correctly, blocked or prohibited entry, prerequisite not
satisfied (for example, if there is no second caller wait-
ing for alternating), incomplete dialing.
Possible response:
Correct the entry, select a permitted option, enter the
complete station number.
