Configuration | Mod

The 'Configuration | Mod' page (Figure 5-11) permits the user to configure CDM-840 Tx
modulator operations. Note that, for any configuration item requiring text entry, a reference to the
operational ranges for that text box is provided to the right of that text box.
Modulator
The acceptable/valid operating range for each item in this section is provided in brackets.
Data Rate [16 – 15343 kbps] – Enter the router's Tx Data Rate in kbps.
Once the desired Tx Data Rate has been set, click [Submit] as needed to save this change.
Symbol Rate [16 – 4500 ksps] – Enter the router's Tx Symbol Rate in ksps.
Once the desired Tx Symbol Rate has been set, click [Submit] as needed to save this change.
FEC Type – Presently, VersaFEC is the sole available FEC type.
Tx Frequency [950 – 2150 MHz ] – Enter the router's Tx frequency in MHz.
MODCOD – Use the drop-down menu to select the Modulation type and FEC rate (MODCOD).
Selections are as follows:
• VersaFEC MODCOD 0 – BPSK 0.488
• VersaFEC MODCOD 1 – QPSK 0.533
