the water will no longer be properly heated. The result is that the
coffee will taste weaker, Espresso will lose its strength and tea
will taste bland. In other words, all the enjoyment will be gone.
When you buy coffee, Espresso or tea specialities, aren't you
careful to buy top quality? In that case, you should insist on the
same for your water. You will taste and smell the difference the
moment you start using the CLARIS plus fi lter cartridge. The
water will taste purer and you will thrilled by the fl avour of your
coffee specialities.
If you use CLARIS plus fi lter cartridges regularly, you will be
able to omit the time-consuming business of regular descaling.
And your coffee machine will reward you with a longer service
life. We recommend use of CLARIS plus wherever water is
harder than 10° German hardness (dH). You can determine the
water hardness before using your JURA coffee machine for the
fi rst time with the Aquadur
Pack.
The CLARIS plus fi lter cartridge was developed specially for
JURA fully automatic coffee/Espresso machines. It contains
a granulate consisting of organic ion exchangers and active
carbon – in other words, pure, organic materials with no chemical
additives. These agents work together to reduce the formation of
calcium deposits, heavy metals and other harmful substances
contained in mains water. Other substances detrimental to
fl avour and aroma, such as chlorine, are also largely eliminated,
while minerals and fl uorides contained in the water are, of course,
retained.
Unlike other water fi ltering systems for domestic use, CLARIS
plus works on the professional up-fl ow principle. In practice this
means that only the precise amount of water required for a given
beverage is drawn in, and this is fi ltered directly before use.
