CHECKING THE POWER C.B.A.
Disconnect all connector cables on the Power C.B.A. except the AC cord, then take out the
Power C.B.A. from the unit.
Refer to Power C.B.A. Service Position, Figure 1.
Check the following parts on the Power C.B.A. with the Tester.
F801, F1001, IC1001 (Between Pin 1 and Pin 2), D1002, D1003, D1004, D1005, D1007, R1023, R1024, PR1003,
PR1004, PR1005, PR1006, PR1007, PR1008, PR1010, PR1011, PR1012, PR1013, D1028, R1037, R1038, D1026,
R1030, D1022, R1027, D1021, D1017, D1020, D1018, D1019, D1016, D1015, D1014, Q1001, Q1002, Q1003,
Q1004, Q1005, Q1006
Connect a jumper wire between TP810 and TP1015 on the Power C.B.A. by soldering.
Plug in the AC Cord.
Is there a snap sound to turn the Relay ON?
(Relay: RL801 on the Power C.B.A.)
Check the Waveform between TP1020 and
TP1021 on the Power C.B.A.
Check the voltage at the following points.
(Use Pin 14 of P1007 as GND.)

P1007(Pin 2)
P1007(Pin 3)
P1007(Pin 4)
P1007(Pin 5)
P1007(Pin 6)
P1007(Pin 8)
P1008(Pin 1)
P1008(Pin 2)
P1008(Pin 3)
P1008(Pin 4)
P1006(Pin 1)
P1009
P1011
Remove the jumper wire between TP810 and TP1015 on the Power C.B.A., and reconnect all connector cables,
then reinstall the Power C.B.A. into the unit.
Plug in the AC Cord and turn the power ON.
Does the Lamp light up?
There is no problem with the Power C.B.A.
After servicing the Power C.B.A., be sure to connect
the Connector P1006 on the Power C.B.A. to install
the Fan 4.

Check the other parts on the Power C.B.A.

and replace the defective parts if necessary.
Check the incorrect voltage line and surrounding parts.
NG
Replace the defective parts if necessary.
There is no problem with the Power C.B.A. However,
NG
other C.B.A. is defective. Check Main C.B.A. and repair
if necessary.
(Check LAMP ON(H) signal(Pin 44 of IC6003),
STANDBY(L)/POWER ON(H) signal(Pin 48 of IC6003),
POWER ON(H) signal(Pin 72 of IC6302), etc.)
Still NG
The Ballast C.B.A. is defective.
(Refer to "CHECKING THE BALLAST C.B.A.")
