A piece of paper torn from
an original is caught
around the DP timing
switch.

Check if the forwarding
pulley or feed pulley is de-
formed.

Check if the conveying
roller or exit roller is de-
formed.
An original outside the
specifications is used.
The forwarding pulley or
feed pulley is dirty with pa-
per powder.
The conveying roller and
conveying pulleys do not
contact correctly.
The exit roller and exit pul-
leys do not contact cor-
rectly.
Corrective measures
Remove any found.
Check if YC10-6 on the engine PWB remains low when the DP
timing switch is turned on and off. If it does, replace the DP tim-
ing switch.
Check if YC10-6 on the engine PWB remains low when the DP
timing switch is turned on and off. If it does, replace the DP tim-
ing switch.
Check visually and replace the deformed pulley.
Check if YC10-6 on the engine PWB remains low when the DP
timing switch is turned on and off. If it does, replace the DP tim-
ing switch.
Check visually and replace the deformed roller.
Use only originals conforming to the specifications.
Clean with isoproply alcohol.
Check and remedy.
