Services
Allows you to use the Cisco Unified IP Phone Services
Configuration menu in Cisco Unified Communications
Manager Administration to define and maintain the list
of phone services to which users can subscribe.
Note
Services URL
Allows users to access services from a programmable
button
button rather than by using the Services menu on a
phone.
Speed Dialing
Dials a specified number that has been previously stored. For more information refer to:
Stutter Msg
Indicates whether a user hears a stutter tone when the
Waiting
phone goes offhook and a message is waiting for the user.
Transfer-direct
Transfer—The first invocation of Transfer will always
transfer
initiate a new call by using the same directory number,
after putting the active call on hold.
Direct Transfer—This transfer joins two established
calls (call is in hold or in connected state) into one call
and drops the feature initiator from the call. Direct
Transfer does not initiate a consultation call and does not
put the active call on hold.
Configuring Corporate and Personal Directories
The Directories button on the Cisco Unified IP Phones 7960G/7940G gives users access to several
directories. These directories can include:

The phone does not support the Extension
Mobility, Fast Dial, Personal Address Book, or
Web Dialer services.
Corporate Directory—Allows a user to look up phone numbers for co-workers.
To support this feature, you must configure corporate directories. See the
Directories" section on page 5-5
