1. Remove the cylinder head, IN & EX manifold and
flywheel related parts.
2. Remove the oil filter element.
3. Remove the water pump (1) together with the oil level
gauge guide (2).
(#1,2, and 3 may have been removed earlier.)
4. Remove the oil pan.
a. Loosen the oil pan attaching bolts.
b. Using a putty knife or firm gasket scraper, separate
the oil pan from the cylinder block.
5. Remove the oil strainer.
