4. Insert the camshaft into the cylinder head.
5. Assemble the thrust ring and oil seal.
a. Align the flange bolt installing hole of the camshaft
thrust ring and flange bolt hole ofthe cylinder block.
Insert the thrust ring and temporarily tighten the
flange bolt. (Make sure the flange bolt gasket is
installed.)
b. Apply engine oil to the lip portion of the oil seal and
press the oil seal by means of the tool #038751.
Bolt: M10, length below head
40 -45 mm
c. Remove the bolt. Hit the tool with a hammer to
confirm the fitting condition of the oil seal.
