Specifying Utility mode parameters

Type in the password, and then touch [OK].

For details on typing in text, refer to "Entering text" on page 8-3.

To finish specifying settings in the Utility mode, press the [Utility/Counter] key. Otherwise, exit the
Utility mode by touching [Close] in each screen until the screen for the Copy, Fax/Scan or User Box
mode appears.
The Administrator Settings screen appears.

If "Prohibited Functions When Authentication Error" is set to "Mode 2" an incorrect administrator
password is entered the specified number of times, it is no longer possible to enter Administrator mode.
For details on the "Prohibited Functions When Authentication Error" parameter, refer to the User's
Guide [Copy Operations].
