Assembly
Reverse the "Removal" procedure.
Note the following points.
NOTE:
Align the projection a on the brush seat with
the slot b on the housing.
NOTE:
D Apply molybdenum grease lightly on to the

Brush spring force:
570 X 920 g
7. Inspect:
S Bearing
S Oil seal
Wear/damage ! Repalce.
1. Install:
S Brush holder 1
2. Install:
S Shims 1
S Armature coil 2
3. Install:
S Ring 1
S Stator ass'y 2
S Shims 3
S Front bracket 4
bearings of the starter motor.
match marks on the brackets.
ELEC
5 Nm (0.5 mSkg)
