Troubleshooting the Print Cycle

Symptom
The Data indicator
does not light up and
the printer does not
start a print cycle.
The Message indica-
tor lights up and the
print cycle does not
start.
The print cycle cannot
be interrupted (the
Data indicator
remains on).
Cause
The interface cable is
unplugged.
The interface cable
may not be compati-
ble with the specifica-
tions of the computer
and/or printer.
The printer has
detected an error. The
details of the error are
shown on the message
display.
Data is stored in the
printer's memory.
Action
Connect it securely.

make sure that they
are compatible with
the specifications of
the computer and
printer.
