Color PagePro Ex Print Options for Macintosh
Electronic Collation
(No is the default)
ICC Profiles
Electronic collation allows the pages of
each copy of a print job to be printed in
sequence. If chosen, a file is downloaded to
the hard disk drive, stored, and printed mul-
tiple times.
This feature is automatically enabled
only if a hard disk drive is installed in the
controller.
If there is no hard disk drive installed and
electronic collation is chosen, then a "Con-
flict" screen will appear that alerts the user
that a hard disk drive is required. If the user
misrepresents to the controller that a hard
disk drive is installed when it truly is not,
then the job will print without collation.
Whichever of these two settings is set to On
is the setting that will be enabled. However,
if both Electronic Collation and Application
Collation are set to On, the Application Col-
lation setting will take precedence.
The Adobe PostScript 8.5.1 driver can
convert RGB colors of a file to a specified
CMYK device target using ICC technology.
Choose this option to specify the use of an
ICC device profile installed on your
computer.
For more information on rending styles, see
page 5-17.
For information on how to install and use
the Color PagePro Ex ICC printer profile,
