Changing the Toner Cartridge (Auto Mode)
The Auto Mode automatically enables the carriage that holds the
toner cartridges inside of the printer to rotate to the exact position
for proper toner cartridge replacement. The printer cover must be
closed when using the Auto Mode. The following section describes
the procedure for replacing the toner cartridges.

Changing Cartridges
Make sure that "REPLACE
TONER" is shown on the
message display.
Press the Menu key four or
five times (when an optional
hard disk drive is installed)
until "PRINTER SETUP"
appears on the message
display.
Press the Enter key on the
control panel six or seven
times.
Check that "REPLACE
TONER, NONE" appears on
the message display.
Press the Up/Down keys on
the control panel to select the
cartridge to be replaced.
