This rule is applied to packets that match the critera described by the next four fields.

The next two fields describe how matching packets should be altered.

Click Advanced if you want to specify the incoming interface and source address,
otherwise this rule is applied to all WAN interfaces and all source addresses are
matched.

When adding a rule, you may either use Predefined addresses or services that have
been added under Definitions, or click New to manually enter an address or service.
Firewall
The destination address of the request, this is the
address that is altered
The service of the packet, which may be a TCP or
UDP destination port, an IP protocol, or an ICMP
message type
The destination service port or ports of the request,
note that many public ports may be forwarded to a
single internal port
The address to replace the Destination Address
(this is typically the private address of a host on the
LAN)
This is the translated port of the packet. The port to
replace Ports, if you leave this blank the port
remains unchanged, otherwise enter the port on the
host at To Destination Address to service the
request. You cannot translate the port if Services
is set to a predefined service. This is because a
predefined service may contain multiple protocols,
and so a single definition is not well defined.
The interface that receives the request
The address from which the request originated (for
port forwarding you may specify this to restrict the
internal service to be only accessible from a specific
remote location)
