Clearing original jams

When during scanning an original jams, the message 'original jam' will appear
on the scanner display. You must remove the original from the scanner.
Removing a jammed original
Open the top cover of the scanner (see figure 152).

Remove the original.

Lift the top cover of the scanner to release the lock of the hinge, and close the

cover (see figure 153).

If applicable, smooth out the original and feed it again.
