Cleaning and care

Important: There is a risk of being burned when cleaning the hot economy grill!
Important: Never clean the grill surface using abraisive powders or aggressive
detergents!
Cleaning the economy grill using ice cubes
1. Turn the appliance off and allow to cool to approx 80 °C.
2. Place the ice cubes onto the grill one after another. At the same time, loosen the
roasting leftovers using a spatula and push them into the trough until all lefto-
vers have been removed. Remove the leftovers from the trough (e.g. using kitch-
en paper). Cold water can also be used instead of ice cubes.
3. Allow the grill surface to cool to approx 80 °C. Thoroughly clean with a clean
cloth and a little cold water.
4. Cleaning when in a cold condition:
– allow a suitable fat solvent to react for 5 minutes
– remove the cooking residues using a spatula or Inox steel knawl
– Carry out the subsequent cleaning with water (wet cloth).
5. When the grill is cold, remove any stains that may have been caused by proteins
or acids in the foodstuffs using some lemon juice and a clean cloth. Then thor-
oughly clean using a damp cloth.
If the economy grill has already cooled down before cleaning, heat up to approx.
80° C and switch back off.

Cleaning the operating panel
1. Wipe the appliance with a damp cloth and a little washing up liquid.
2. Dry the appliance using a clean cloth.
Removable Frontline strip
The aluminium Frontline strip fastens on by means of magnets. It is easy to re-
move by hand and can be cleaned with detergent. Please do not use any scour-
ing agents or sponges that scratch. Do not clean the strip in the dishwasher.
