It consists of two layers of stainless steel with a layer of aluminium between them. This therefore has a good thermal capacity, which prevents a rapid decrease in temperature, for example, when preparing meat from the refrigerator.

There is also the option of cooking with pots or pans. However, if pots and pans are used on the cooking surface, the warm up time is markedly longer than on glass ceramic, gas or cast-iron plates.
