SYMPTOM
1. The desired programme cannot be
recorded.
2. Recording and editing cannot be
made.
3. Timer programming cannot be made.

INITIALIZING
SYMPTOM
1. Malfunction occurs on the unit.
2. The Disc Tray doesn't open.
ATTENTION:
This unit contains microcomputers. External electronic noise or interference could cause malfunctioning. In such cases, switch the
unit off and unplug the mains power cord. Then plug it in again and turn the unit on. Take out the disc. After checking the disc,
operate the unit as usual.

POSSIBLE CAUSE
The channel position does not
correspond to that in the receiving area.
No disc or a disc not being compatible
with the unit is loaded.
The disc loaded is not formatted.
A finalised DVD-R disc is loaded.
The disc is full or does not have enough
space for the programme to be recorded.
Date and time is not correct.
Power failure occurred before the timer
programmed recording starts.
Date and time set on the unit is not
correct.
The channel position does not
correspond to that in the receiving area.
The satellite receiver is not connected
properly to this unit.
Power failure occurred.
Eight programmes have already been
timer programmed.
The PC's data recorded on a DVD-RAM
drive cannot be cleared on this unit.

Set the correct channel position for the

hold 1, then press 8 for two seconds or
more.
Take out the disc in following ways.
connect and disconnect the power cord
from the mains outlet.
press and hold the open/close button
(x) on the unit until the disc tray
opens.(it will take about 30 sec.)
close the disc tray by pressing the open/
close button after taking out the disc.(the
main power shuts down)
