4 Replacement Procedures

12. Peel the aluminum cover off the LCD unit.(only for the Samsung-made 14.1-inch

XGA LCD unit)

CAUTION: Peel the aluminum cover off the LCD unit. (only for Samsung-made 14.1-

inch XGA LCD unit).

NOTE: 1) Be careful not to apply pressure to the ICs along the edge of LCD unit. The

ICs are easily damaged.

2) For environmental reasons, do not throw away a malfunctioning LCD unit (or

FL). Please follow local ordinances or regulations for its disposal.
